A massive distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack has hit a number of gaming services overnight.
Most affected is the PlayStation Network which is still down until further notice. Servers for Battle.net (which handles all of Blizzard’s current titles such as Hearthstone and World of Warcraft), League of Legends and Path of Exile have also been included as part of the DDoS attack, however all report to be functioning at reduced capacity.
Network update: our engineers are aware of the issues and are working to resolve them. We’ll keep you posted – sorry for the inconvenience
