YOUTUBE BUYS TWITCH?!

Rumours on the internet speculate that YouTube will acquire Twitch for a whopping 1 billion dollars.

Google’s YouTube has reached a preliminary deal to buy Twitch, a popular videogame-streaming company, for more than $1 billion, according to sources familiar with the pact.

The deal, in an all-cash offer, is expected to be announced imminently, sources said. If completed the acquisition would be the most significant in the history of YouTube, which Google acquired in 2006 for $1.65 billion.

Batman: Arkham Knight – Trailer

After an announcement that Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed till 2015. This trailer focuses on the new and “improved” Batmobile that now features a giant minigun. I thought that Batman doesn’t kill people. Apparently if they are wearing armour then it’s fair game.

Halo 5: Guardians Announced

WE PLAY GAMES TOO

Kochie has dived into the world of Transistor – From the developers of Bastion, it’s an isometric action game with a great soundtrack and a wonderful art style. You can see Kochie’s full review to see what he really thinks about the game.

Ascend: Hand of Kui – A free to play RPG with an action combat system similar to Dark Souls where by you can die very easy if you aren’t careful. The only barrier that I have found for paying is the in game currency which unlocks certain pieces of gear early. You can still get lots of stuff without paying a dollar which is pretty awesome.

DotA 2 – It’s dotA what do you need to know?

Chris has been playing a whole lot of Titanfall still and enjoying it a hell of a lot.

Brendan has been to the Manabar in Brisbane recently and played a few party games like Killer Instinct and an unmentioned party game that was apparently good
