Microsoft have announced today that iconic landmarks around Sydney will be lit up tonight to celebrate the launch of the Xbox One.
Westfield Sydney Tower will be the first to start the event, with the Westfield sign to switch off and the Tower to be bathed in ‘Xbox green’. Microsoft also mention that the Tower will be home to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest countdown clock for the evening. In addition, the Tower will be used as a canvas for light projects and game images on the side of the building. On the other side of the city, the famous Luna Park face will also be lit green. The event is set to start from 8pm to 12am AEDST.
Xbox One releases in Australia at midnight tonight (22 November 2013).
