Watch Dogs Release Date, Story Trailer Revealed

Update: Ubisoft Australia have confirmed the worldwide release date for Watch Dogs as 27 May 2014.

 

Ubisoft’s EMEA Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Geoffroy Sardin, mentioned that “We are pleased to be able to reveal to gamers all over the world the new release date for Watch Dogs”.

 

“We are extremely confident that the additional time we afforded the dev team to refine and polish the game will be more than worth the wait.”

 

Ubisoft have also mentioned that players who purchase Watch Dogs on either PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will have exclusive access to 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation Network.

 

Watch Dogs releases worldwide on 27 May 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC; with the Wii U version releasing at a later date.

6/03/2014: The release date for Ubisoft’s upcoming and long anticipated title, Watch Dogs, has been revealed through a leaked story trailer.

 

Originally uploaded via Xbox.com, the story trailer reveals the release date as May 27 (the trailer can be viewed by clicking here). Given the trailer sports the ESRB rating, this is likely to be the US release date should a single global launch not occur.
