Microsoft have announced a limited edition Titanfall wireless controller for the Xbox One.
Xbox Live’s Major Nelson posted on his blog that the controller was a collaborative effort with the Xbox design team and the Respawn art department. According to Respawn Entertainment’s lead artist, Joel Emslie, their goal was “to create a controller that feels as if it is a piece of military spec hardware transported from the universe of Titanfall and into players hands.”
The controller design is inspired by the C-101 carbine, used by the elite IMC Titan pilots of the Frontier.
The Xbox One Limited Edition Titanfall Wireless Controller will cost $89.95AUD. No local release date has been announced, but we anticipate it will be close to the game’s release on 13 March 2014.
