Rayman Legends Releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Ubisoft have announced that Rayman Legends has now released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and originally launching in 2013, Rayman Legends makes its way to next-gen platforms with exclusive characters and gameplay features. Xbox One owners will have access to characters inspired by the Far Cry 3 villain, Ray Vaas and Far Glob, as well as the Sam Fisher (Splinter Cell) inspired Splinter Ray. PlayStation 4 owners will have access to Assassin Ray, inspired by Edward Kenway of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Gameplay features exclusive to the Xbox One include ten exclusive challenges to unlock new achievements. These challenges require the player to perform specific actions during a limited amount of time and are associated with various aspects of the game, (player skills, co-op play and Kung Foot to name a few). Exclusive PlayStation 4 gameplay features include use of the controller’s touchpad for actions such as scratching Lucky Tickets, as well as a new Camera Mode. Players can use the touchpad to freeze the screen and zoom in and out of the picture, focusing on the hand-drawn visuals and animated-nuisances created during development. Rayman Legends also supports Remote Play with the PS Vita.

Rayman Legends is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as on Wii U, PS Vita, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
