EB Games have announced that the PlayStation 4 will be playable at this year’s EB Expo, before the official release date.
Posted on the EB Expo site, Debra McGrath, EB Games National Brand, Events and Engagement Manager mentions, “It’s fantastic that Australians get the chance to get hands on with the PS4 at EB Expo before its official release. This is usually a privilege reserved for industry insiders, now everyone is an insider”.
This is a big deal… people are going to be able to look back in years to come and brag that they played it first. We know that this is something that the community have been waiting for and as gamers ourselves we are equally excited. The prospect of hands on game play before the official release is something gamers only dream of. We are stoked that Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has made this a reality for those attending EB Expo.”
This year’s EB Expo will be held at the Sydney Showground from Friday 4 October to Sunday 6 October. Along with the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One will also be playable for the public before its release date.
Both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are set to release at the end of this year.
