Sony has announced the launch date for PlayStation 4 as 29 November 2013 for Australia and Europe.
The announcement was made earlier today during their conference at GamesCom in Germany. In addition to the announcement, Sony also mentioned that North America will receive the PlayStation 4 earlier, with a release date of 15 November.
Sony Computer Entertainment CEO, Andrew House, commented on the pre-order success of the PS4. In an article posted in Joystiq, House mentions, “The response that we have received has been nothing short of incredible”, and that “we were consistent in maintaining policies that are fair and in tune with consumer desires”.
PlayStation 4 will launch in Australia on 29 November 2013, with a retail price of $549.
