Halo: Nightfall Trailer

Halo Nightfall

Today at the San Diego Comic Con 2014 the Halo: Nightfall first look trailer made an appearance for fans and convention goers alike. The trailer features agent Jameson Locke (who is portrayed by actor Mike Colter) who will also be a featured prominent (and playable!) character in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians game. However during the Halo: Nightfall Comic-Con panel, Colter noted that he “can’t confirm whether he’s a friend or foe of Master Chief” which definitely leaves some interesting possibilities up in the air!

For those unaware, Halo: Nightfall is a live action webseries (similar to Forward Unto Dawn) that will consist of 5 episodes and also will come bundled with the Halo: Master Chief Collection. The point of the series is to tie together the stories of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians as well as having some narrative connections to Halo: The Television Series (produced by Steven Spielberg). As previously mentioned it features Jameson Locke who is a rising star in the UNSC with some reservations about those in command. The above trailer shows Locke’s team tracking down reports of an element that specifically targeted humans on the distant colony of Sedra and is set to be around after the destruction of the first Halo ring (from the first game).

I know that I’m super excited for this series and cannot wait to sit down and watch it when I get my Master Chief Collection! Thoughts on the trailer?!
