Tecmo Koei have announced the release date for Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends on PlayStation 3, and Dynasty Warriors: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition as 3 April 2014.
Being the standalone expansion to Dynasty Warriors 8 which released in July 2013, Xtreme Legends will include new episodes that add to the story of the three kingdoms the game revolves around, focusing on the exploits of the mightiest of warriors, Lu Bu. The game will also introduce five new characters, increasing the total to 82 warriors.
PlayStation 4 and PS Vita owners will be able to check out the Complete Edition, which includes both Dynasty Warriors 8 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends. Save data from the PlayStation 3 copy is also transferrable across all platforms.
Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends releases on 3 April 2014 for PlayStation 3, with Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition also releasing on the same date for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. More information can be found on the official Dynasty Warriors 8 page.
