Developers of the free-to-play game Path of Exile have announced their latest development to the dungeon crawler in the form of an Xbox One release. The team at Grinding Gear Games made an announcement on their website which contains a few details for the upcoming release with a launch date set for later in 2017.
We’re proud to announce that Path of Exile will be making its console debut on Xbox One later this year! The Xbox One version is also free-to-play and will contain all the content from the PC version, including the upcoming 3.0.0 expansion that includes Act Five.
The release also details that the Xbox One players will get their own Realm (separate game server) due to small changes in the way the game plays while using a handheld controller instead of the standard keyboard and mouse. These small changes include the number of Flask (potion) slots the character has and how some of the abilities are used to target the enemies of Wraeclast.
Check out the trailer below to see some of the UI changes coming to Xbox One, new areas to explore in the 3.0.0 expansion and all manner of loot drops.
