Koei Tecmo has announced that their latest game ‘Toukiden: Kiwami’ will soon be released on PC worldwide. Originally relaunched on the Playstation 4 and Vita in March 2015, Toukiden is in the pool of games that make up the ‘Monster Hunter-esque’ genre where you are rapidly outclassed by your enemies and must overcome these challenges with huge weaponry and unique abilities.
With a story mode estimated to take over 100 hours to complete, Toukiden: Kiwami also features over 50 Oni types, an extensive character creation mode, 300 fallen heroes (Mitama) whose rescued souls help strengthen the player’s team, more than 1500 weapon variations. Players can battle Oni with a squad of up to four Slayers comprised of various NPCs or other players via online cooperative play.
Toukiden: Kiwami will be released on Steam on June 26, 2015 worldwide. Those who pre-order the game can knock 10% off the full price and will also be be handed a DLC costume set fashioned after the armor of Soma, the heroic Captain of the Hundred Demon Corps and Reki, the young Naginata wielding Slayer.
