Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Announced

Ubisoft have announced a HD remake to their PS Vita title, Assassin’s Creed Liberation, with the title to be brought to Xbox 360 PlayStation 3 and PC.

In an article posted on IGN, Ubisoft mention that Liberation HD will offer “a complete graphical overhaul, re- mastered music and sound effects, a revamped gameplay experience, and new missions that dive deeper into Aveline’s story”.

Associate producer for Liberation HD, Momchil Gindyanov, has told Polygon that while the ‘3’ has been omitted from the title, the game will still have the same story, character and setting as it’s PS Vita counterpart.

“Since Assassin’s Creed Liberation is already out, we gathered all the reviews and all the comments from the community, we put all the data together and we ended up with a big priority list of things we wanted to do. Just by bringing the game to console, it now has more geometry, more textures, more shaders, more materials, lighting is different and we implemented the dynamic change of time of day so you can experience day and night.”

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC digitally in 2014.
