This week on the Progress Bar podcast
- – Uncharted’s Creative Director and Writer forced out or left voluntarily? What’s the real story behind Amy Hennig’s departure, we may never know. She’s not talking about it and according to Naughty Dog, the creative team behind The Last of Us – Straley and Druckmann – were not involved.
- – Jack Tretton steps down as CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America. Jack has been behind many a PlayStation product launch, but the PS4 is his last. He’ll step down at the end of March and will be replaced by Shawn Layden.
- – South Park: The Stick of Truth is released but we’re not getting the uncensored version. We briefly discuss our reaction to this profane and controversial game. Prepare for a plethora of crying Koalas and face-palming fine art sculptures.
- – Path of Exile gets new content! Kochie explains some of the new content and how it is improving an already excellent free-to-play title.
We play games too
We’ve been playing as the ‘new kid’ in South Park: The Stick of Truth which has been quite the experience. Kochie recounts some tales from the Path of Exile and I delve into two downloadable content packs that I’ve been playing Battlefield 4: Second Assault and Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry.
