Have you been sitting around waiting to hear about confirmation as to whether or not Titanfall will stay exclusive to the Xbox One or whether the PS4 will get a taste? Well it seems as though any chance of the game coming across to the PS4 has been nixed. During a conference call to investors, EA’s Blake Jorgensen has stated that Titanfall is “for the life of the title,” remaining as an exclusive to the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. What this means is that it’s not a timed exclusive and will remain only on those platforms.
The exclusivity has been well known since it’s announcement at E3, though it was never definitively stated that Respawn Entertainment wouldn’t attempt to port or build a version for Sony consoles. In a recent Reddit AMA, Xbox Live spokesperson Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb avoided the question regarding the possibility of such a port: “As far as being an exclusive that’s really a question for Titanfall – I’m not worried about it though.”
Sorry PS4, looks like you won’t get to have a taste of Titanfall after all..
