Starship Troopers – Terran Command Has Been Delayed

Publisher Slitherine Games and developer The Aristocrats have today announced that Starship Troopers – Terran Command will be delayed from its original March 31st release date. The new and definitive launch date will be June 16, 2022 which will allow the team to work primarily on getting those pesky bugs out of the system and polishing existing aspects.

“We intend to deliver a finished and polished game, and it is very important for us that you are able to fully enjoy the game from day 1, without any issue spoiling your fun or without having to wait for future patches or hotfixes. The game is now content complete and all remaining development time will be entirely focused on refining what already exists. We can’t wait to reveal more, and we plan to show you a lot in the months leading up to the launch in June.” – Press Release from Slitherine Games

Inspired by the original 1997 movie, Starship Troopers – Terran Command was set to follow the events of the movie trilogy in an RTS style environment. Players would primarily control the best fighting force in the galaxy, The Mobile Infantry against the dreaded Arachnids on the planets Klendathu, and Kwalasha to ensure the survival of humanity.

Look for more information the the game’s Steam page, and we will look forward to killing some bugs ourselves on the 16th of June 2022.
