Sad news, South Park fans: You’ll have to wait until autumn to get your hands on The Stick of Truth.
Announced on the Ubisoft blog earlier today, the game has been pushed back to a March 4th 2014 release date. This marks the third official delay for the title, which was initially meant to be released last March.
South Park creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone were quoted in the blog post, stating: “We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”
Coupled with the disappointment of the delay, Ubisoft released a new 7-and-a-half minute trailer showing off the exquisite graphics and humour. It remains safe to say that for fans of South Park, this game will be unmissable.
