Rise of the Tomb Raider

Square Enix has made a blog post detailing that after the successful launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360, Rise of the Tomb Raider is set for a quick release on to the PC platform. The timed exclusive is now set to realese on Steam and Windows 10 store near the end of this month.

“The PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,” said Scot Amos co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.

Developers Crystal Dynamics® and Nixxes Software have also stated that they have added numerous features including Windows 10 support and 4K resolution. The system specifications detailed on Steam are quite lenient considering how amazing the game looked on console; requiring only 2GB of VRAM to run.

  • Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 650 2GB or AMD HD7770 2GB

  • Storage: 25 GB available space

At the time of wrinting the only information we have of the PS4 release is that it will be set 1 year after the original release on the Xbox platforms.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is set to be available for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28, 2016 for 59.99USD.
