Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Announced

Interesting news has arisen regarding the Pokémon franchise.

Back in 2003 Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire made it’s entrance into the Pokémon world and now 11 years later it’s coming back for another go. Like all paired Pokemon games beforehand, Ruby and Sapphire were followed by a third version in the form of Pokémon Emerald two years later. These three games together became the best-selling Game Boy Advance games of all time.

Now the wonderful world of Hoenn is being brought to the 3DS in the form of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The Pokémon Company has just announced the two remakes of the third generation Pokémon games. Whether or not Pokémon Emerald will be up for a remake can only be speculated on but at the moment their isn’t much information supporting it. The trailer states that the game is a “new” adventure in a new world but we are guessing that it will be the same amazing game from 2003 with a bit of a face-lift.

The games will be released worldwide in November 2014.
