Nintendo Announces Pokemon Sun & Moon

Nintendo has recently revealed the Australian release date for the next Pokemon game on the 3DS. Titled Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, the upcoming duo are set to launch on November 18th, 2016 in Australia and everyone outside of Europe (launch date is 23rd November, 2016). Alongside the announcement there has also been information released regarding the new Pokemon you will be able to start with.

The developers have stuck to their guns and will be releasing a Grass, Fire, Water combination in the forms of Rowlet, Litten and Popplio. The most notable change here is Rowlet’s type being a split Grass/Flying type. We will see how that changes as the Pokemon grow and evolve throughout the game. Personally I’m sticking to my Water type as they usually get the ability to learn Ice moves in the later stages of the game. Popplio is the most adorable in my opinion.
