Today, Nintendo has released their lastest direct video related to Pokemon X and Y.
After a brief dicussion on the game’s history, Nintendo revealed that the original “Japan only” edition of the 3DS XL will now be coming to other parts of the world.
Previously assumed to be launching in conjunction with the release of Pokemon X & Y in October, both special editions of the 3DS XL consoles will now be hitting American and European shores on September 27th. Hopefully we’ll be getting the same edition here in Australia, and we honestly can’t wait!

[Update]: Nintendo Australia have confirmed via Vooks that both 3DS XL’s are coming to Australia! They will retail in stores on 27 September for $249.99 AUD.
