After recently becoming completely independent of Square Enix, IO Interactive has made the beginning of their latest Hitman title free to play. If you are still on the fence about picking up the full game, this gameplay section dubbed “The Playground” will give you a small taste of what is to experience in the full game.
The free playable content includes:
- 2 Story missions, including all cut-scenes
- 2 Escalations Contracts
- 40+ Challenges
- 17 Achievements/trophies
Players who download the free version will keep all progress if they eventually upgrade to the full game. In addition to this, all platforms of Hitman are currently up to 60% off for one week, so there’s never been a better time to jump in on PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam).
