EA’s Origin Allows Games To Be Refunded

EA has announced that their PC and Mac content delivery system, Origin, can now accept refunds for games purchased through the online store.

Dubbed The Origin Great Guarantee, EA have explained how it all works via the Origin News page:

The new Origin Great Game Guarantee works like this: You may return EA full game downloads (PC or Mac) purchased on Origin for a full refund–within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from when you purchased it, or within the first seven days after the game’s release date if you pre-ordered it (whichever of these conditions happens first).

Users who are not happy with a purchase can receive a refund by visiting their Order History through Origin, then selecting the Request a Refund link next to their recent purchase.

EA have also mentioned that The Origin Great Game Guarantee starts today in 20 countries, with everyone else to be covered by the end of September.
