EA Announces Games Subscription Service, EA Access

EA have announced a new games subscription service, called EA Access.

With the service coming to Xbox One, EA Access allows players to select from a regularly updated range of games in ‘The Vault’. In addition, EA Access gives players the opportunity to try new games five days before release, along with 10% discounts on EA digital download purchases (this includes full games, downloadable content and in-game currency).

The service is currently in beta for a select group of players. To give you an idea of what titles to expect in The Vault, the current list of games to select from in the beta are Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4. EA have mentioned that more titles will be added soon.

Subscription to EA Access costs $6.99 AUD a month or $39.99 AUD a year, with the service to fully launch soon. We’ll keep you updated when we hear more info.
