Bohemia Interactive have announced that Arma 3 will be set to release on 12 September 2013.
In a statement, Bohemia Interactive have mentioned their next tactical military shooter will be available in September through digital and physical retail stores worldwide.
Benefiting from the splendid support of Alpha and Beta participants, Arma 3 ships with the large open terrains of ‘Altis’ (270 km²) and ‘Stratis’ (20 km²), 12 singleplayer showcases, 3 faction showcases, 9 multiplayer scenarios, 10 firing drill challenges, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons, 5 factions, the scenario editor and modding support. The Arma 3 singleplayer campaign will be released across 3 free DLC episodes after launch.
The Arma 3 dev team will also be hosting a live stream on Twitch.tv to showcase the release package, and to give gamers a sneak peek of what to expect from the final product. The live stream will start on Saturday 10 August at 17:00 UTC (Sunday 18 August, 3:00AM AEST).
Arma 3 will release on 12 September. Bohemia Interactive are inviting the public to participate in the final stages of pre-release development by purchasing a copy through Steam. Both the Beta and Digital Deluxe editions will include a full retail copy of the game upon launch.
