Sony have announced a special edition PlayStation 4 to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
Sony have been celebrating ’20 Years of Play’ this week, with the original PlayStation launching on 3 December 1994. Limited to 12300 units worldwide, the 20th anniversary edition PlayStation 4 includes all accessories such as the PlayStation Camera, controller and vertical stand, with all coloured in original gray.
Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House mentions that “The ‘PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition’ is a very special model that is reminiscent of the original PlayStation, which has inspired every other PlayStation platform launched in the past two decades.”
“This limited edition PS4 offers a great sense of nostalgia to long-time PlayStation fans, while also providing a fresh experience to those who never picked up the original console”
