Far Cry Primal PC System Requirements Detailed

Far Cry Primal is coming up on us, and Ubisoft have listed the system requirements for the game.

Ubisoft recently posted the minimum and recommended specifications for Far Cry Primal up on their blog. We’ve listed the specs and supported graphics cards below.


Minimum Specifications:

  • Supported OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-550 | AMD Phenom II X4 955 or equivalent
  • RAM: 4GB RAM
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 (1GB VRAM) | AMD Radeon HD 5770 (1GB VRAM) or equivalent
  • Hard Disk Space: 20GB
  • Peripherals: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, optional controller

Recommended Specifications:

  • Supported OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K | AMD FX-8350 or equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB RAM
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 | AMD Radeon R9 280X or equivalent
  • Hard Disk Space: 20GB
  • Peripherals: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, optional controller

Supported Video Cards at Release:

    AMD Radeon™ HD 5770 (1 GB VRAM) or better, HD 7000 / 200 / 300 / Fury X series NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460 (1 GB VRAM) or better, GTX 500 / 600 / 700 / 900 / TITAN series (Laptop versions of these cards may work, but are not officially supported)

Far Cry Primal is an action-adventure title set in prehistoric times in the fictional land of Oros. Players take on the character Takkar, a hunter who slowly builds up his defences and skills to eventually form his own tribe. Ubisoft have also mentioned that players will be able to tame wild animals found throughout the open world.

The game will release on 1 March for PC, with a release date of 23 February for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
