Sony Australia have mentioned in a statement that ‘significant quantities’ of the PlayStation 4 console are on track for a February delivery.
In an article posted on Kotaku, the additional February stock will fulfill all current pre-orders as well as leaving ample supply in retailers. Sony Computer Entertainment Australia’s managing director Michael Ephraim mentioned, “The best way to guarantee your PS4 in February is by going to your preferred retailer, either in store or online, before Christmas to place your pre-order”.
“With this announcement, it looks like Christmas will come again in February for players across Australia.”
The PlayStation 4 is set to be one of the most popular items for gamers this year, with the console still sold out nationwide and listings on eBay reaching up to $1000 at the time of writing this article.
