Riot Games have announced that the Oceanic Pro League (OPL) Grand Final for 2015 will be held at Luna Park.
The event is set for 8 August 2015 and players can experience free community activities around the park, ranging from cosplay competitions and workshops to themed games, starting from 11am AEST. Riot Games mention that the Grand Final will then kick off at 5pm AEST with ticket holders taking their seats to watch the OPL’s two top teams go head-to-head for the crown.
The winning team from the OPL Grand Final will go on to compete in the International Wildcard Tournament to fight for a spot at the World Championships in Europe.
Country manager at Riot Games Oceania, Mirko Gozzo mentions “We invite all Oceanic players to come to the OPL Grand Final. Even if you don’t manage to get a ticket, there will be plenty of free community activities and screens around the park to watch the live broadcast”.
1300 seats will be available for the Grand Final, with ticket holders also receiving a show bag including a skin code, t-shirt and more. A single ticket to the event will cost $15 with a five ticket “Team Deal” costing $60. Tickets can now be purchased through this link.
