Nintendo have announced two new Nintendo 2DS bundles that will make their way to Australia.
Coinciding with the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on 21 November, Nintendo have revealed two colours for the Nintendo 2DS – Transparent Red and Transparent Blue.
Transparent Red will come bundled with Omega Ruby, with Alpha Sapphire bundled with the Transparent Blue 2DS. The bundles will be available from 4 December for $179.95 AUD each.
In addition, Nintendo have also announced that selected Club Nintendo members will receive special demo access to Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire via email from 15 October. If you don’t receive an email, demo access can be obtained from selected retailers from 3 November.
During the course of the demo, Nintendo explains that players are likely to encounter a familiar Pokémon that can now Mega Evolve. The Mega-Evolved Pokémon can be brought into the full Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire games. Reward items obtained during the demo can also be brought into the full game.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release on 21 November for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. More information on the upcoming Pokémon titles can be found on the official website.
